Left-Hand Drive Vehicles
Left Hand Drive vehicles are allowed to be import in the country.
Age Restriction
Vehicles more than 5 years old are not allowed to be import in the country.
Inspection
All vehicles must be registered annually and once they are three years old they must pass an annual inspection in order to renew the vehicle’s registration (Istimara). The test is intended to ensure that vehicles on the road are roadworthy and safe to drive. Vehicle inspections are carried out by Woqod Vehicles Inspection (FAHES).
Used Cars Import Duties And Taxes In Qatar
A 5% customs duty is charged on the value of the vehicle identified on the price on the Purchase or Sales Invoice value or its depreciated value and is determined at the discretion of the Customs Officer in charge.
